Looking for Mentors for a Hackathon!

Hello all, 

Busan Foreign School is hosting a hackathon, and we’re seeking mentors to guide high school students during a unique hackathon with the theme: “Build Stupid Stuff, Get Stupid Prizes!”

Our sponsors: Busan Bank, Algoverse, TK corporation, etc.

Details:

• Hourly Pay: 7,000 KRW/hour

• Duration: Up to 12 hours (please specify your availability in your email)

• Bonus: For mentors leading a workshop, an additional 30,000 KRW will be provided per workshop.

What You’ll Do:

*This hackathon is for everyone, including many beginner level students. Projects and workshops are expected to be not as difficult.

• Assist students in mini projects involving electronics: Arduinos, engineering(soldering, etc), and programming.

• Offer guidance and troubleshoot technical challenges.

• Workshops (optional): If you wish to host a workshop, include the topic of the workshop you are willing to host in your application email.

• Workshops related to engineering(tinkering with electronics, coding, and soldering) are preferred, but it can also be something else

부산외국인학교에서 “Build Stupid Stuff, Get Stupid Prizes!”라는 주제로 고등학생 대상 해커톤을 개최하게 되었습니다. 이곳에서 멘토로 활동하실 분을 찾습니다!

저희 해커톤의 스폰서들들: 부산 은행, Algoverse, 태광주식회사, 그 외 다수. 

세부사항:

• 시급: 시간당 7,000원

• 보너스: 워크샵을 진행하는 멘토에게는 워크샵당 추가로 30,000원을 지급합니다

멘토 활동 내용:

• 기술적 문제 해결 및 조언 제공

• 워크샵(선택사항): 워크샵 진행 희망 시 주제와 함께 이메일에 포함해주세요.

• 워크샵은 프로그래밍, 납땜, 엔지니어링등 프로젝트에 직접적으로 도움이 될 수 있는 주제를 선호하지만, 다른 주제도 가능합니다.
